We have no control whether our children receive our brown eyes or curly hair. We can decide what values and ideals we are going to pass down. Family traditions make our lives richer. Traditions are practices that promote positive feelings and are repeated on regular intervals.
Each family may have its own set of memories that binds the family together-both the immediate family and across generations. Family traditions ensure the warmth and closeness of the family by promoting a sense of identity within the group.

How you treat your toddler will help to determine how confident your child is. Encourage and praise your child often. Some days your bold explorer will want to cuddle and withdraw a bit, that is ok too. One of life's special gifts is listening to a three-year-old sing a song.
